My first patch to the Linux kernel has been accepted!
The patch is a fix to the new XDP sockets in the Linux kernel. It will improve the performance of the kernel-bypassing packet-processing technology by 2-3x! It enables XDP_USE_NEED_WAKEUP on AF_XDP sockets with XDP_SHARED_UMEM flag. The fix appears in 5.10.148, 5.15.73, 5.19.15, and 6.0.1 in addition to 6.1+
